Welcome to the Royal Institute of Time-Related Research in London, on the 14th of April, 2058.” Rosalind Brodsky is convinced that she has discovered the secret of authentic time travel, and is planning to wield this power to redeem all the wrongs of human history. As she resurrects a couple of psychoanalysts and prepares to meet a certain painter in Vienna, she has only one thing on her mind: to save her grandparents from the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the Holocaust. But nothing is what it seems in this book permeated by a haunting atmosphere of the grotesque, of consolidated nausea, and glittering lethargy. Ladies and Gentlemen: The past has begun.

The play is based on the fictional life of Rosalind Brodsky, created by Suzanne Treister in 1995 at ensemble.va.com.au/tableau/suzy and the book, No Other Symptoms — Time Travelling with Rosalind Brodsky by Suzanne Treister (Black Dog Publishing Limited, London, 1999)
